I worked on the overhaul and redesign of a claims desktop app for a major insurance company.

The company was porting its enterprise software to a new system and wanted to make major UI/UX improvements for their agents in the new system.

Lead UX/UI Designer

  • Conducted contextual inquiries, user interviews, and stakeholder interviews to understand the needs and requirements of claims agents.

  • Produced wireframes, and designs and met with product owners and developers to understand requirements and technical feasibility

  • Structured and prototyped designs for user testing with claims agents

  • Created visual designs and defined the design system for the new claims platform

  • Provided pixel perfect file preparation

  • Pairing with developers for production release

I worked on 3 different workflows for claims agents, as well as helped to define a design system.

My work resulted in significant decreases in time on task for claims agents, and a reduction in errors in the claims process.
